What is your ministry?

I am the Ministry Coordinator (Acting Director) of Word of Life Hungary, a country-wide youth ministry. Our motto: Know, Follow, and Proclaim Christ. We want to raise multiplying young disciples through our Christian Camps, International Bible Schools, and church cooperations.

When did you trust Christ?

In 1988, at the age of twenty, I was looking for meaning, love, and authentic relationships. Then, I met a fellow college student who volunteered for Campus Crusade for Christ. He shared the Gospel with me using the 'Four Spiritual Laws' booklet, and in November 1988, I trusted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Saviour.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

At twenty-two, I finally understood that I could not lose my salvation. As a result, I decided that I wanted to serve God with my life. After finishing college, I accepted the invitation to join the staff of Word of Life Hungary. Another life-changing season was when I was privileged to attend the Dallas Theological Seminary, graduating with a ThM in 2007. My professors and mentors helped me understand the beauty of His grace. Another shaping season was experiencing seven years of infertility. Then, against all odds,  God gave us our first child. Throughout the many years of walking with God, my wife and I experienced that whenever He opens a new chapter, He is with us, provides, guides, teaches, and loves us deeply.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

I look forward to learning from the lectures and seminars in a formal setting about leadership, cooperation, and reaching out to our continent and learning in the informal encounters from other leaders about how I could do my ministry more wisely. I look forward to networking, making new relationships, offering our help to others, and spending time with like-minded brothers and sisters to open up and encourage each other.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

From 1988 to 1995, I was a student leader of Campus Crusade in Budapest. I started with Word of Life in 1991. Since then, I have held multiple leadership positions, such as Director of Development, Assistant Camp Director, Camp Director, Bible Teacher, and Staff Evangelist, and currently, I am the Ministry Coordinator (Interim Director).

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

I want to be a more godly and wise team leader, and the Hungarian Leadership Forum I just recently attended was more than helpful. I trust this event will help me learn and grow. I want to learn from others, and I would like to build relationships with fellow leaders. I believe European Evangelicals must unite to represent Christ to our continent. By God's grace, I want to make our ministry's resources available for all we can help.
