Kristian Dimond

Kristian Dimond is a church pastor and college chaplain in England.
My wife, Carla, came to faith in Christ in 2011 and eventually convinced me to attend church. After several months of ignoring services and refusing to read the Bible, I met the Living God during a sermon. I initially felt fear, dreading the consequences of my sin, but found comfort and salvation by reading Romans 3–8. It was a relief and joy to learn that Jesus is the Saviour and gift to even the worst of sinners, and it is all by His grace!
Witnessing my wife change, and finding contentment, peace, joy in Jesus changed me. I felt called to give away our material wealth and enter ministry soon after coming to faith. Several people helped me grow spiritually, including an assistant pastor, an ex-professional athlete, and a professor who mentored me. Studying Applied Theology at Moorlands Bible College and then leaving my first church to become a pastor at Wellington Chapel in Hereford also helped me live out God's vision for my wife and me.
I expect to be helped and encouraged with leadership skills, pastoral advice, and shared wisdom that will help me better serve others.
I teach and provide pastoral care for 80 regular attendees at Wellington Evangelical Chapel. I also pastor 20 students at a local college where I lead home groups 2-3 times per week and am the interim chaplain. Additionally, I speak and evangelize at outreach meetings and events.
As an unbeliever, I was in charge of training and leading security advisors. As a Christian, I have been an apprentice and assistant pastor at Bethel Baptist Church in Barry and pastor at Wellington Evangelical Chapel, Herefordshire.
Kind Christians have invested in me from the very beginning, and I thank God for helping me remain teachable, humble, and aware that I will always have much to learn.
