Kirsten Kukulski

Kirsten Kukulski is a pastor ministering the Gospel in Krakow, Poland.
I was twelve years old when a believing friend shared the Gospel with me at a youth camp, and I gave my life to Jesus. Since then, I have had the belief that the Bible is God's Word and that Jesus is God.
I was part of a team that planted a church in London. Later, my husband and I planted a church in Poland. The calling of God in my life has been both challenging and rewarding, but God is always faithful! I have witnessed hurting and broken people healed and restored. Also during this time, my husband and I adopted two children from difficult backgrounds. Our son was headed down the wrong path, but God guided us to the right people and gave us wisdom for each challenge. Our son gave his life to the Lord, and has been completely transformed.
Good teaching, theological training, and guidance in practical areas of church ministry is essential. I think it is always good to gain a broader perspective by finding out what God is doing in other churches and ministries around the world, and how He is guiding others. We also need to be accountable to others. Especially during the refugee crisis, it became very clear that teamwork was necessary to achieve anything of substance for God's Kingdom.
I am a leader of New Covenant Church, Krakow, along with my husband. I organise women's ministry weekends away, preach at Sunday services, conduct marriage courses, disciple individuals and small groups, lead prayer meetings, and coordinate and lead Sunday worship. As a small group leader I teach, organise social events, and co-ordinate group discussions. I also oversee many of our church's service ministries.
I have been a small group leader, worship leader (keyboard and vocals), and a member of an eldership team. I have discipled individuals and small groups.
Poland is in desperate need of the Gospel and God's love. It's very tough ground, and ministering here can be very discouraging at times. It would be of great benefit to my ministry to the Polish people to work with others who can help, guide, and train; to be encouraged in the spiritual disciplines; to grow in my knowledge of God; and to become more like Christ.
