Kacper Zduńczyk is a youth ministry leader studying to be a pastor in Poland.

When did you trust Christ?

I started following Jesus at age 16 when I discovered who He is through the Scriptures and learned about His great love for me, a sinner. Gradually, He took down the fortress of pride in my heart, I felt His enormous love, and I began to pray. I know there will be more experiences like this with our great and holy God.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

When my mother received a difficult diagnosis, it was a time of forging my trust in God and serving my mother through prayer and daily help. God taught me what it means to be a child of His, 'for of such is the Kingdom of God'. I realised I want to serve Him and that even when I don't understand everything, I can trust Him like a little child.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

I want to meet with experienced leaders and share my problems as well as my plans for future ministry. I see YRM groups as an opportunity to learn about present challenges in ministry and society and to learn more about leadership.

What is your ministry?

I am studying theology at Higher Baptist Theological Seminary and also work with children in my church. After getting my degree, I plan to become a pastor to help meet the need for leadership in Polish churches.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

I have led the youth group in my church, conducted lessons, and led worship services for children.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

I am going to be a pastor in the Polish Baptist Church as there's a need for leadership. 'The harvest truly is plentiful, but the labourers are few. Therefore, pray the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into His harvest'.
