Joanna Lisiecka serves in women's ministry at her church and with Cru in Poland.
When did you trust Christ?
I entrusted my life to Jesus after reading 'The Four Spiritual Law' booklet with my sister, who was involved with Cru.
What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?
My involvement with Cru as a student, reading the Bible, studying the Bible, leading, and sharing Christ with others. I eventually became a missionary with Cru. My growth was always connected with someone who took care of me as a Bible group leader, and I have had a mentor for many years.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
I hope to hear inspiring Bible teaching to grow and meet new people, to be refreshed, and maybe to encourage them and get new ideas and inspirations. Maybe I will even learn new skills.
What is your ministry?
I co-lead a Bible study for women in our church. We meet every two weeks to share what we prepared during that time and pray for each other. I am also a Prayer Coordinator at Cru and help prepare the newsletter for our staff.
What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?
I have held various roles in Cru, from Bible group leader to Prayer Coordinator.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
I now see that the women in my Bible study are very encouraged to read the Bible, study it, and share it with others. It is life-changing. I am a creative person, and I love to use it in ministry, and I want to learn from others.
