Jiří Holý

Jiří Holý is a medical doctor in the Czech Republic leading Christian healthcare professionals.
I trusted Christ in 1990 during a Christian Fellowship workshop in Prague at the end of my studies in the University.
I spent some time in the USA after my University studies, and I attended the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Belmont, MA. After coming back to the Czech Republic, in 1993, I became a member of the local Brethren Church in the town of České Budějovice. I married my Christian wife Hana in 2001.
I hope to be encouraged and educated for better ministry to the glory of God. I would like to improve my knowledge of the Bible. I also appreciate the warm invitation from Peter Saunders, the chairman of the ICMDA (International Christian Medical and Dental Association).
I serve in leadership with the Fellowship of Christian Healthcare Professionals. I have also led an adult Bible study and prayer group almost every summer during "xcamp Smilovice" in North Moravia and Silesia since 2004, preach in local churches occasionally, speak at conferences for the Fellowship of Healthcare Christian Professionals in the Czech Republic, pray with a group before worship services on Sundays, and have been teaching children at Sunday school since 1994. I cooperate with the US organisation "Compassion International".
I have taught children in Sunday school. I was a member of the leadership of my church from 2000-2008. I was voted Chairman of the Fellowship of Healthcare Christian Professionals in the Czech Republic in 2022.
I believe I have proved from God's mercy to have endurance and to be persistent in ministry.
