Jasmina Ristic Mukha is a missionary and psychologist in France.

When did you trust Christ?

It was during my first year of university. I had been wondering about the meaning of life, especially because of the war that affected my country, my friends, and my life. I moved to Novi Sad to study psychology. While I was there, a friend shared with me about Jesus and what He had done in her life. I was amazed by God's great love for me and decided to give my life to God. It was the best decision I ever made.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

In 1998, I attended the Discipleship Training School in Budapest, Hungary, and then went on a mission trip to Serbia and Bosnia. It was not easy, but it was a wonderful experience of God's love and power in and through my life. I then worked with Youth with a Mission in Budapest for eight years. I learned a lot about leadership and discipleship and how God can change the lives of young people. During my time there, I learned to hear and obey God.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

The Forum is a place of encouragement for me and a chance to network with other European Christian leaders. I am better equipped to serve in my ministry as a result of the teaching, encouragement, and fellowship during the Forum. I love hearing what God is doing in other parts of Europe. I wasn't able to attend the Forum for the past few years, and I really missed it. I hope to be encouraged again, built up by the teaching I hear, and inspired to continue serving God with all that I am and all that I have.

What is your ministry?

My husband and I serve as missionaries in France, where we lead worship for three international churches in our area. We have also started a ministry called Art Café, which is our community outreach event. Additionally, I am a licensed psychologist with training in art therapy. I facilitate art therapy workshops, teach seminars, and offer counseling. My ministry is in France, but I often travel to Budapest, where I work with YWAM, ministering to Ukrainian refugees and the Riverside International church. I also travel to Serbia and serve with my home church in Novi Sad.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

From 1999-2007, I was on staff with Youth with a Mission (YWAM) Budapest. From 1999-2002, I was on staff with the Discipleship Training School (DTS), helping to staff schools and leading students on mission trips in Eastern Europe and India. From 2003-2006, I was part of the Base Leadership Team for YWAM Budapest. Lastly, I have served as a school director in various capacities and contexts.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

I believe God has used me in the past to pioneer new things. I know I can inspire others. I am passionate about seeing His Kingdom come, and your investment can help me in this pursuit. I am looking forward to being renewed and seeing what God has in store for the next season of my life.
