Iudith Oarcea
Iudith Oarcea leads projects in Romania with EQUIP Leadership.
I grew up in a Christian family in Timisoara, regularly attending church in that city. I accepted Jesus in my heart as a teenager while at a Christian youth conference.
First of all, it was essential that I regularly went to church and was part of the youth group. I also sang in the church choir, was a Sunday school teacher, and was also involved in the church's mission work. The mentoring relationship I had with the pastor's wife also helped me grow spiritually. After our pastor and his family had to leave our church, I distanced myself from church, a period that lasted over 15 years. The Lord used EQUIP's Beyond Success program to bring me back into his flock in 2021. Since then, I became a certified facilitator of this programme, and I settled in a local Baptist church in the city of Oradea.
It will help create connections with leaders from all over Europe, but most importantly with leaders from Hungary. All the teaching and discussions will also be greatly valued.
In EQUIP Leadership, I lead the Beyond Success program in Hungarian communities. The program is a leadership course developed for evangelizing towards people who don't normally go to church. In this organisation, I am also involved in the prison ministry. In my local church, I am one of the leaders of the women's ministry.
My past leadership roles were mostly at my jobs, where I occasionally needed to lead the implementation of a project or manage international events for multinational companies. This is my first leadership role in the Christian mission and evangelism field.
The ministry that I'm involved in is very effective in changing lives in general, but especially in introducing God to participants, teaching them about having a personal relationship with Him. It has changed my life also, and brought me back to God
