Isidor Bajic serves as the senior pastor of a Christ Evangelical Church in Serbia.

When did you trust Christ?

I heard the Good News of Jesus through street evangelism, went to church the next day, and decided it was the place for me. Before my conversion, I had abused substances, and I knew the end would be bad if I continued in that lifestyle.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

A missionary couple from Texas helped me in my first steps towards Jesus by answering my questions through many conversations. Attending Bible school in Dallas, Texas was another turning point for me.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

First, I believe we should never stop learning. Second, I hope to hear about new initiatives and innovations and to gain fresh encouragement and motivation. Third, I love being surrounded with the clouds of testimonies. This gives me motivation to continue.

What is your ministry?

I am a senior pastor and teacher in Christ Evangelical Church, the church where I got saved many years ago. I also help with the worship ministry and am currently mentoring and helping other church pastors.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

I started as a youth leader working with teens. Because I was a musician, my pastor asked me to help with worship on Sundays, which led me to discover my gift of leading worship. In 2005, I started my pastoral calling after my pastor transitioned to another church. I have also served as a missionary in Bosnia and Hercegovina, and, for eight years, I went on mission trips to Albania two to three times per year.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

I have many years behind me in full-time ministry and am serious about this opportunity. Financially, I cannot afford to attend, and I am grateful for any support. One important thing I believe the Bible teaches us is to be good stewards of every God-given gift, including our material things.
