Irina Orundas

Irina Orundas is serving with ICMDA in Georgia, assisting local doctors and students in evangelising foreign medical students there.
During the Communist era, my grandmother and mother became members of the Evangelical Baptist Church. Then, at the age of 13, I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour through repentance.
My growth as a Christian was influenced by my family, church, Christian friends, church seminary studies, and IFES.
I think that attending the Forum will fill me with new energy and give me a new vision which will positively affect my ministry.
Since June 2024, I have been AR for the International Christian Medical and Dental Association (ICMDA) for Georgia and Turkey. In November, I helped organise an online group for foreign medical students in Georgia, to give local Christian doctors and students a vision for serving the Lord in their work and school environments.
I have been an Evangelical Baptist Church Seminary group leader; a leadership group member for IFES Georgia SKSK; leader of the evangelistic student dormitory group in Tbilisi; leader of the medical student group in Batumi; and head of graduates of KSK in 2012. I also helped organise the successful efforts to have a newly formed group of doctors and nurses officially join ICMDA in 2023.
I expect that the spiritual, personal, and professional growth that I will experience at the Forum will positively affect my ministry.
