Iosif Crisan is a preacher in Romania serving his home church and two remote congregations in need of Bible teaching.
When did you trust Christ?
I made the decision to follow Jesus around the age of 13 years old. I had been wanting to follow Jesus for a while, but at 13, I decided to make the decision public and get baptised.
What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?
My father has had the biggest influence on my faith. He taught me most of the things I needed to grow when I was younger. Listening to other preachers from the USA has also contributed to my growth, such as Paul Washer and John Piper.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
I heard about the Forum from my brother. I want to learn and equip myself to preach the Word of God better, witness to people, and learn to evangelise.
What is your ministry?
I currently serve in a large church in my town with my family. A few times a month, we serve two small churches in the countryside. I help them with preaching the Word of God and singing. These are small churches that do not have a pastor every Sunday.
What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?
Over the years, I have had the opportunity to serve as a leader in my church as a preacher, committee member, and youth and children's ministry leader.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
In the churches where I serve, people lack foundational Bible principles and teaching. These people are hungry and eager to listen and learn about God and the truths of the Bible. However, there are not many people who are willing to go serve these churches.
