Gabriel Ilutiu
I am responsible for planning, organising, and implementing activities, using church resources, logistics, and members to serve the needs of the members of our community, inside and outside the church. In this way, we plan to involve as many of our church members as possible so that everyone can be a part of a ministry and serve God through serving the needy.
I trusted Christ on 21 March 1999, after an evangelistic service held at a local church in my hometown. I went there to meet a girl and met Jesus.
The lives of those around me impacted my faith—my parents, grandparents, and the community in our church. Growing up in a communist country, surrounded by restrictions and persecutions, you get to see real men and women of faith. Another way of growing is by looking at God's provision, and I will always be grateful to God for how He answered my prayers and guided my steps in choosing my wife. But the miraculous way He brought our son into our life is by far the most extraordinary event in my family.
If I'm better equipped and prepared, I can organise events more efficiently and motivate others to join to reach the ministry's goals. I organised several seminars and conferences with my pastor, who is also an ELF leader. In the past, we had Stefan Gustavsson for an apologetic conference and Emanuel Tundrea for a family conference on how to raise children in an era of technology.
I have been the Vice President of the Rock of Hope Association. I have organised events, fundraising, and mission trips at Sega Baptist Church.
I think I have potential, and with guidance and mentoring, I can do much more for God. I know I need mentoring, something I have never had so far.
