Gabo Harsanyi is an International Ministry Coordinator for IHS Global and leads Bible studies in Hungary.

When did you trust Christ?

When I was 11, I was at a Christian camp, and at 14 I was baptised. I made a serious decision. I wanted to give my life to Jesus and live a life that glorifies Him. Since then, God has been working in my heart.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

When I was 17, I had the privilege of visiting a very Godly family in South Dakota, and I learned a lot from them, especially from the way they lived a life completely surrendered to God. In my teenage years, I attended a Bible study group where I grew a lot and learned to love the Bible even more. After high school, I did the Discipleship Training School with YWAM. Then I went on and studied Frontier Missions and the Bible more with YWAM. These were all very defining things in my relationship with Jesus.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

I hope to grow in leadership and teaching skills, to see more of God's heart and how to reach people well, in a God-honouring way.

What is your ministry?

I currently lead Bible studies for youth and adults. I prepare Bible studies, teach, and also disciple young people. I'm also involved with teaching the Bible at different organisations, churches, and youth groups. I've taught in Australia, the Fiji Islands, and around Hungary.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

I've had leadership roles with leading Christian camps for children for many years. Recently, I've also led a team on a mission trip in Fiji.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

To be able to grow in leadership skills, in knowledge, and how to improve ministry so it can bring glory to Him, and help people see Him more, and have a better understanding of who He is.
