Florica Chereches
Florica Chereches is a former member of the Romanian Parliament. She currently serves as president of the National Authority for the Rights of the Disabled People, Children and Adoptions and as the president of the National Women Organisation of the National Liberal Party. Prior to this, she was a City Council member and the deputy mayor of her town, Oradea. Her political career has been very much focused on supporting the vulnerable, supporting families, and promoting entrepreneurial and vocational training. Florica’s life journey has been full of ups and downs, but God has always been present, even when He allowed her to go through deep sorrow following her first husband’s death while she was pregnant with their third child and unemployed. Florica is remarried and believes that her family is the most significant accomplishment of her life. She has four children and eight grandchildren, her pride and joy.
