Filip Gardendal is a junior doctor and serves voluntarily as Area Representative for the Nordic countries in Europe with the International Christian Medical and Dental Association (ICMDA).
I grew up in a family attending an evangelical congregation in Sweden. I attended the congregation weekly as a child. I was obedient to my parents and claimed to be a Christian, even publicly. Sadly, my parents eventually divorced in my early teens. Thankfully, it led to my spiritual revival, allowing me to know Christ in a personal way. I then realised that my former 'Christian life' had been more out of a tradition, without Christ at the centre. The Bible suddenly became a living book speaking directly to my heart, and I became hungry for more of Christ. This became the start of my journey with Christ.
Seeing others pray and read the Scriptures. Hearing the word of truth being preached.
I heard about the Forum via ICMDA. I hope to gain tools to guard and develop my relationship with Christ. Additionally, I would like the Forum to enhance my relational and leadership skills and provide valuable contacts for my life and ministry.
I am a junior doctor and serve voluntarily as Area Representative for the Nordic countries in Europe within the International Christian Medical and Dental Association (ICMDA). I help represent ICMDA in the Nordic countries. I'm responsible for promoting the mission, vision, and core values of ICMDA amongst students and junior graduates. Finally, I attend and participate in regional committee meetings.
I was formerly a board member and student coordinator in the Christian Swedish Medical Association.
I am in touch with several medical professionals. They themselves reach thousands of people. Hence, investing in me could, over a lifespan, impact millions of people!
