Evgheni Advahov is a pastor of the Church Without Walls in Chisinau, Moldova.
When did you trust Christ?
I was born into a pastor's family. I made a conscious decision to follow Christ at the age of 17 at a Christian youth camp.
What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?
There were many defining moments. Every three to four years, God has shown His power in my life, indicating that He is near. There were also key people in my life, like professors at a Christian university, who set an example and inspired me to serve.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
This forum was recommended to me by friends at the institution where I study. Participating in the European Leaders Forum will be beneficial for me in many ways. The experience of other ministers will open up new horizons and reveal new ideas. I would like to learn in areas such as nurturing new leaders and planting new churches.
What is your ministry?
I serve as one of the pastors of the Church Without Walls in Chisinau. I lead the discipleship department, which includes a team of home group leaders. I preach in church and am also part of the church council.
What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?
In church, I am the leader of the discipleship department and small groups department, where I lead a team of small group leaders.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
I believe investing in my ministry would allow me to develop skills in prayer, Bible study, and spiritual leadership that I can apply within my community. It would allow me to become a better-prepared leader and mentor for other believers. Additionally, it would enhance my abilities in strategic planning and management within ministry, and teach me how to work effectively in a team with other Christian leaders. Lastly, investing in my ministry would help prepare me for training and mentoring the next generation of Christian leaders.
