Ephraim Gergis

Ephraim Gergis is a Pharmacist in Germany who is passionate about Muslim ministry.
When I was around 8 years old, my grandmother spoke with me about Jesus Christ. I prayed and trusted in Him. After that, I grew more in my faith, and by the age of 15 or 16, I decided that Jesus Christ was not only the Lord of my parents but my personal Lord. I started to follow Him sincerely.
During my walk with the Lord, I had various moments of growth. My high school discipleship group, the grace and forgiveness of church elders, my first mission trip, higher education, travel, and time with the Lord have been impactful. The Lord has provided for me and helped me become more Christ-like and produce fruit for Him. I'm awed by many ministry leaders, biblical counsellors, accountability partners, and Bible teachers who are used by the Lord in drawing my life for His glory.
I heard about ELF from a friend. I expect that ELF will be the next step in my ministry, where I can strategise with Europeans and benefit from others' experiences. Connections and cooperation will strengthen us all.
I live in Germany as a tentmaker, so I use my work as a pharmacist to relieve pain and connect with Arabic speakers to make connections and evangelise them. Additionally, I go to the main square of Stuttgart (where I live) for street evangelism. With some like-minded friends through Campus Crusade, I go to different cities in Germany and Europe. Also, I am involved in a ministry that offers discipleship to Muslim Background Believers who are mainly in closed nations; we offer a platform that acts as a church for them.
I received a master's in management and organisational leadership, so I served the Lord in various positions in a missionary organisation called Message to All Nations between 2016 and 2019. I also held different leadership positions on the national and regional levels in a secular organisation (YMCA) between 2017 and 2019. Additionally, I established a Language Service Provider company in Egypt between 2018 and 2021.
My main purpose in leaving Egypt and going to Europe was not a higher quality of life but to follow a call by the Lord to fight Islam in Europe, the continent that was once Christian, experienced the Reformation, and sent missionaries to the whole world. Now, Europe is a mission field and an easy target for Islam. Your investment will help me do Muslim ministry in Europe.
