What is your ministry?

I am the leader of the women's ministry in our church. I hold a meeting for all the women in our church every month. Right now, we are also studying a book together, which is developing relationships between the women. I regularly meet with women in the church who need pastoral counselling. I also lead the worship on the piano in the church.

When did you trust Christ?

In 1988 when I was almost 16, I went to a Christian camp where only girls were together, and an old lady taught the Bible to us. One night she taught about the prodigal son, and God put His hand on my sins and showed me how wretched I was. I asked for a personal conversation with this older woman and just cried and cried for an hour over my sins. Then we prayed together. I told Jesus everything I had said to the older woman. Since then, the Lord has been taking care of me and changing my heart. I am very thankful to Him!

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

The older woman who prayed with me to accept Christ was a significant influence on me. A woman from our church whose life was very difficult also influenced me because she loved the Lord intimately. Other defining moments were when I got married when I had my children, and when my husband became a pastor.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

I want to become more competent in discipling younger Christians in the church. I also want to support my husband's apologetics ministry and be encouraged by other evangelical leaders.  Since I started attending, I have grown a lot. The Bible has become my sole resource for all the souls I meet. I became more robust and more stable in my faith.

I expect a lot. I would like to see my role in the church, my workplace, and the whole Christian realm in Hungary much clearer. Where God leads me as a leader? I would like to know how to become firm and loving in leadership. How to keep boundaries without being condemned. My husband was the pastor of this church for 20 years, and we are still in the church, which is beautiful, but God might have something new in my life too.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

I have previously taught pre-adolescent children at our church and organised their entire ministry.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

First, I am involved in the counseling ministry of my church— both as a pastor's wife and as someone interested (and hopefully gifted) in counseling. I want to learn more about the biblical foundations of counseling. Secondly, I would like to support my husband as the Forum National Leader for Hungary and therefore have a more personal experience of the Forum.
