What is your ministry?

I have been working with CRU for more than ten years. I have been doing athletes in action for seven years, enjoying sports, ministry, and sharing the Gospel through sports. Now, I am in charge of the global church movement, a Ministry in our organization that focuses on church planting. We are trying to connect with other churches' planting ministries and teach and learn from them how to be part of new churches in new areas or cities. We have some excellent materials, but there's always a unique opportunity to learn from different people. In September, we will launch our new ministry with other churches.

When did you trust Christ?

I grew up in an orphanage beginning at age four. From age eight to fifteen, I attended the Catholic church on Sundays. A group from the Mission to the World organization visited our orphanage and would spend time with us and invited us to their church. I have always been interested in God and enjoyed hearing the Gospel clearly and boldly. Becoming a believer was more of a process for me and not a one-day event. It all happened between my 15th and 18th year.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

Every year I look back and see God at work in me and my growing dependence on Him. One defining moment was the first time I preached. It is still a blessed moment. I have mentored a couple of men throughout the years, and I’m very thankful I had an opportunity to influence their lives. During the summer, we organize camps and see God’s work. I am inspired to see teenagers moved by the word and Spirit. Two teenagers became believers through my sharing the Gospel with them. And, last but not least, I enjoy seeing how God is taking care of my ministry. I have been with CRU for six years, and I love to focus on God’s kingdom.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

I hope to learn what the Bible says about this topic and some experiences from other people. Also, to find a process that starts with assessing the church's current state, identifying areas for growth, and developing a compelling vision. As the process unfolds, I expect a renewed sense of purpose and vision to emerge, breathing life into the church's core. I anticipate a rewarding process of transformation that aligns the church with its Mission, empowers its members, and fosters a deeper relationship with God. I want to learn how to communicate about progress and changes to promote transparency and build trust—connecting with its surroundings and rekindling a passion for worship and service.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

I am an elder in our church. I'm also part of our preaching team, where we write and give feedback or sermons. We are trying to do an excellent job because it's important to preach the Bible faithfully and lead people with it. In my church, I'm also involved with organising retreats and church trips where we try to gather and build people and their relationships. I'm also on the board of our school. It's a Christian amatory school where we try to share the Gospel, but also, we're trying to have a school with good teachers and teaching plans and methods.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

I want to gain as much as possible and take all the good spiritual and ministry growth opportunities back to those I serve in my country.
