Dina Tupchik is an IFES / InterVarsity Belarus Board Member in Poland.

When did you trust Christ?

I was born in a Christian family, and my parents taught me about God from an early age. But even though I knew about God, I didn't know Him personally. Then I got sick. I became very afraid of dying without God. I knew that if in that moment I died, I would go to Hell even though I knew about God. I repented of my sins while at a camp, and God healed my body and soul.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

One event that became a turning point in my life was when I was offered a job with IFES / InterVarsity. At the time, I had just graduated from university with a degree that I really liked. I had a choice to make. I could take the job that I dreamed about, or I could dedicate my life to serving God. Thank God! He helped me make the best choice in my life, and I chose to work with IFES / InterVarsity!

What do you hope to gain from participating?

I haven't been to the Forum in many years, but previously the Forum helped me personally grow as a leader, connect with ministries and other leaders, and become an effective servant for His kingdom. I really need God's guidance and wisdom in my ministry, and this is why I am returning to the Forum.

What is your ministry?

I've been involved with IFES / InterVarsity Belarus for more than 15 years in various roles: staff, general secretary, and now as a member the board of directors. Also, I'm helping start a students' ministry in Uzbekistan, raising local leaders.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

Outside my work with IFES / Intervarsity, I was involved in children's ministry, leading Sunday school classes and helping with children's camps in my local Baptist church.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

I see that God has used me in my ministry. I want to be much more effective in the place where He has put me.
