Delia Rebeca Vasilca is a full-time engineer and a PhD student in Romania.
When did you trust Christ?
I was four years old when my parents taught me that Jesus died for my sins, and I received Him in my heart. I was baptised at 12 years old in my local church.
What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?
Watching my parents' walk with the Lord has had the strongest impact on my faith. I have also been influenced by my grandmothers, friends, and mentors around the world. I have been blessed by very good teachers.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
ELF is a great opportunity to meet people who have been through similar experiences and can give me advice on how to share my faith. It can also help build networks that can start local ministries.
What is your ministry?
I currently work as a full-time engineer and am a PhD student. I am seeking to honor God by giving my best in these two areas and by being a witness and light among the people I work and study with.
What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?
I do not have any past leadership roles.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
The expenses for the Forum registration and travel equals more than my monthly income. I am passionate about all the evidence that supports our faith, and being equipped in this area would be very helpful for the future. I want to share this evidence with other students/people through a ministry in Romania.
