David Ghita is the Regional Coordinator for Equip Leadership Romania.
When did you trust Christ?
I grew up in the Romanian Orthodox Church. After a long journey looking for a good church, I was baptised in 2014.
What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?
After I met John Maxwell in 2017 in Orlando, FL, God spoke to me and told me it was time for me to grow and develop a personal relationship with Him.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
I hope to grow both personally and professionally as a leader. I want to gain practical insights from experienced mentors who can help me strengthen my leadership skills, improve my decision-making, and navigate the challenges of leading a growing organisation. I also hope to learn new strategies for building effective teams, empowering others, and creating sustainable growth while staying focused on the mission and values of the organisation. Receiving honest feedback and guidance from mentors will help me identify areas for improvement and develop greater confidence as a leader. Most importantly, I hope to gain wisdom, perspective, and valuable relationships that will enable me to have a greater impact on the people I serve, the organisation I lead, and the communities we support.
What is your ministry?
At Equip Leadership Romania, I mentor spiritual growth group leaders, training them to disciple and counsel people, as well as to take on an administrative role in my local church.
What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?
I have been the Sergeant at Arms for the Toastmaster Club Oradea, Regional Coordinator for Equip Leadership Romania, and the second pastor in my church.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
I know how important it is to learn from good mentors and people with life experience. I was invited to attend by my organisation's leader, as my participation would greatly benefit our ministry.
