What is your ministry?
I'm currently not in a particular ministry. I'm studying theology in my second year in a different country than my origin, so I have kind of been in between churches the last year. Since ELF 2023 I've become an active member of a Faroese student-oriented Church in Copenhagen and I've been looking forward to opportunities to serve however I can.
When did you trust Christ?
I gave my life to Jesus at a youth camp at age 17.
What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?
One defining moment was when I first got into co-leading student ministry at KFS (the local IFES in the Faroe Islands) in High School. Attending and later on working with a discipleship school (KFS), helped me grow a lot in my understanding and faith. There are probably many moments I could recall, but I also believe our walk with Christ is often as much defined by the day-to-day, as specific moments.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
I came to ELF 2023 after being in a dry season and really experienced God meeting me where I was and dragging me out of it. It was also filled with really great Networks and plenary classes. Meeting brothers and sisters in Christ from all over the world was a blessing. Since then I’ve been excited about getting more active serving in my new church. So, I'd like to return because the last one was good.
What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?
I was a student ministry helper while in high school years at KFS. Then in 2020-2022, I worked full-time for KFS Faroe Islands (IFES)and was also a youth pastor at City Church Torshavn.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
Invest in me if you want to invest in a 24-year-old theology student living in Copenhagen, Denmark. Invest in me if you want to invest in someone who really had an amazing conference in 2023, and would love to come back again for ELF 2024.
