Daniel Bozsoki is a pastor serving at a church in Hungary.

When did you trust Christ?

At age 11, while at a church children's camp, I realised my parents’ faith is not mine, and I cannot inherit it. That decision became more serious when I was a teen in my church youth group and started to understand the Gospel on another level, realising Jesus saved me from my sins and gave His life for me. I dedicated my life to serve Him, later becoming a youth pastor, and now serving as one of five pastors in our church.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

When I was a teenager, my youth pastor encouraged me to read the Bible and have daily devotions. This helped me experience the power and gifts of a daily relationship with Jesus. Later, other mature believers impacted me and shaped my thinking about church and Bible study.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

I think ELF would encourage and teach me about church leadership. Sharing experiences with others would also help me understand more about the motivations of today's believers. I also hope to build friendships with other evangelical, Gospel-centered servants of Jesus.

What is your ministry?

I serve as one of five pastors with Szabad Evangéliumi Gyülekezet. We pastor the people, meet and pray with them, and follow their lives. We also organise church life and make decisions about events. In every sense, our ministry depends on Jesus, and we believe every decision or plan we make comes from Him.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

As a youth leader, my role was to connect with the young people of our community and deepen relationships. I would encourage them to take part in youth group events and sometimes speak to their parents about bringing them to youth group.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

We are a big-city church, and our mission is to reach people with the Gospel through our people. I am called to pastor, teach, and prepare them to serve our city by sharing the Good News about Jesus. I would like to improve my ability to encourage, teach, and motivate others.
