Colin Mitchell
Colin Mitchell is the vice chairman of the Mission Board at Lansdowne Church, Bournemouth, UK. His primary focus these days is making Christ known to the nations and the poor on the streets of his hometown and southern England. His bird Photography has been displayed in the local newspaper and other publications. He has written on Creation and Flood themes. Formally a manager in the National Health Service, for 20 years he served on the eldership team of a Church plant that flourished in Bournemouth. His responsibilities included ministries to the poor, directing a language school, mission to an unreached people group, and directing a Newfrontiers training base for leaders. He was a tutor and lecturer at Moorlands College and chaired the local Evangelical Alliance network. He is married to Chris and has three grown sons and four grandchildren. Colin received an award with colleagues from the National Association of Health Authorities for a training program and an award from the Mayor of Bournemouth for leading volunteers in an outreach from his church.
