What is your ministry?
As a pastor and missionary, I teach and preach the Bible often. I teach an ethics class for youth in a state school. I also teach a preparation course for missionaries. Before the pandemic I traveled teaching and training leaders in different aspects of their lives. For me, the Bible is the fountain of wisdom, and we cannot bring people close to God if we cannot properly use the Bible. To go deeper in our knowledge of the Bible is our duty as Christians. It is our daily bread.
When did you trust Christ?
I gave my heart to Jesus in 1990. I was living in a city that had many Christians. I kept hearing about Jesus and the salvation one could freely receive through Him. Many of my neighbors were believers, and I also worked with many believers, so I decided to go to a youth service. I was impacted by the speaker and how the people there had let God change their lives. Something happened inside me, and I decided to give my life to Jesus. He was someone I could not resist. After my decision, the youth group took care of me, and I started growing in the knowledge of God.
What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?
Four years after I became a Christian, I went to Bible College. I desire to serve with the gifts that God has given to me. This one what we are here, to do what God has called us to do. Over the years, I have met many leaders who have served the Lord with joy for their entire lives. I have met many pastors and teachers who have been great inspirations.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
I would like to go deeper into difficult passages from the Bible. I would like to go deeper in my knowledge of our Lord. I believe that a year with people who are passionate about Jesus and who share their experiences will help us all to grow in faith and help us all in the ministries that our Lord have entrusted to us. The Bible is our guide; we should learn to use this guide as much as we can.
What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?
I am working in a church which has about 60 adults and 30 kids. My main role in the church is as the second pastor. As part of being the second pastor, I lead work with men and the youth. I also coordinate the Sunday school. We are a small church that wants to work in a way that is totally biblical. We have started a program with small groups. The main goal is that the people can have a place to grow. My wife and I are the hosts of one small group.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
I want to improve my skills in preaching and exegesis. I want to better understand difficult passages and difficult books of the Bible. Over the years, I have served God with passion. I have been in ministry for 16 years in Poland. God has been merciful and is blessing our work. I desire to improve God's gifts to be more effective and reach many more people.
