Cason Sibley

Cason Sibley is on staff with a new church plant in West London, preaching, evangelising, and discipling.
I grew up in a Christian family and went to a solid, Bible-believing, Gospel-preaching Baptist church. I prayed "the sinner's prayer" many times in my life, but I was 13 when I really called on Jesus to save me.
After being saved at 13, I didn't live for Jesus. Throughout my teenage years, I lived a double life, enjoying the world's pleasures while still going to church. When I was 20, God brought me to true repentance. Since then, I have steadily grown in my walk with the Lord, bearing fruit for Him.
I expect to learn how to develop greater discipline and precision in preparing and delivering Gospel-centered and Biblically sound sermons. I look to be encouraged, challenged and to come away with a deeper love and passion for Jesus and His Word. I hope to establish friendships with other like-minded brothers around Europe, to encounter new ideas, and gain a wider and more creative perspective on how to faithfully preach and teach God's Word.
I am on staff with Shepherd's Church, a new church plant in West London, and I recently began preaching to our congregation. I disciple some men in our church plant and evangelise in our area. I also help set up and lead our Sunday services, attend team staff meetings, and help our pastor in various ways.
I love the Bible and have taken preaching classes, but I want to continue growing in my understanding of and love for God and His Word. For this reason, I want to learn how to preach God's Word faithfully and more effectively.
