Bronwyn Barrett

Bronwyn Barrett is an evangelist working on a college campus in the United States.
I decided to trust and follow Jesus during my freshman year of college. I would have claimed to be a Christian throughout most of my life. Yet, when I went to college, I was surrounded by people who loved the Lord and desired to glorify Him in all areas of their lives. I quickly realised that I was living a life to please the world and not God, and I put my trust in God and fully believed that He had sent His Son to die on the cross for my sins.
There have been many women who have come alongside me in my walk with the Lord. Early on in my faith, there was a woman who taught me about spiritual disciplines and how to read the Bible. The church that I attend emphasises discipleship, which has helped me grow in all areas of my life. I have learned from older women what it looks like to be hospitable, generous, and caring. I am continually learning from them how to be a godly wife, mother, and friend. Last summer, I had the opportunity to attend the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics. This was incredibly formative and impactful for my Christian walk as I was exposed to Christian history in Oxford and how to apply apologetics in my everyday life.
I continually engage with Roman Catholics through campus evangelism. I believe this training will better equip me to disciple those who come to faith from Roman Catholic contexts.
Currently, I am involved with college campus evangelism and outreach.
