Bogdan Kosev

Bogdan Kosev is a worship leader and apologist in Bulgaria.
I was raised in a Christian family and grew up surrounded by faith, but for years my relationship with God was shaped more by routine than conviction. At 13, during a Christian summer camp, I realised I could no longer live divided between the world and my faith. I surrendered my life fully to Jesus, experiencing peace, renewal, and purpose. Since then, my faith has grown as I've seen God's faithfulness through both challenges and victories. My deepest desire is to serve Him wholeheartedly and share His love with others.
Since coming to know Christ, I have grown in my faith, guided by the support of my family and local church leaders. Another significant turning point was when I moved to the capital of Bulgaria to pursue my bachelor's degree. There, I began attending Crossroads Church Sofia, and almost immediately, I became involved in the worship ministry. Worship has been a core part of my faith journey; since 2014, I have been actively serving in the worship team at my local church.
I expect to gain new knowledge on a variety of cultural topics, especially in understanding the mainstream worldviews that shape today's society. I’m looking forward to exploring how these views intersect with the Christian faith and how to engage with them thoughtfully. I also hope to gain hands-on experience through debates, discussions, and practical exercises that will help sharpen my ability to articulate and defend my beliefs.
Currently, I serve as part of the leadership team for the worship ministry at Crossroads Church Sofia. My responsibilities include participating in our monthly leadership meetings, where we discuss how to guide the ministry best and shape its overall direction. We identify areas that need improvement, refine internal processes, and discuss how we can better support and care for the people involved in the ministry.
Over the years, I have taken the initiative to organise a youth worship team in my hometown church, leading worship nights, youth gatherings, and conferences. In Sofia, I am also part of a Christian band called 'PredTrona', which produces original Christian music, using our gifts to glorify God and inspire others. Last year, I served on the leadership team for the apologetics network at Crossroads Church’s summer camp. Throughout the week, I led several discussions on key topics, helping equip and encourage others in their faith.
I see investing in my training and ministry as more than just personal growth. My heart is to equip worship teams, mentor young believers, and help others grow in their faith, whether through worship, apologetics, or discipleship. I know this journey is about multiplying the impact—equipping others, strengthening churches, and creating spaces where people can truly encounter God. My heart aches for the people and the church. I want to be ready—not just with a willing heart, but with the knowledge, leadership, and experience to truly make a difference.
