Ann Brown
Ann Brown is a retired teacher and part of IFES / InterVarsity in Wales.
I became a Christian at the age of 11 through a Christian teacher.
The defining period in my Christian life was the year I spent at l'Abri Fellowship in Switzerland. I was deeply impacted by the emphasis on giving 'honest answers to honest questions' and by practically living out faith by dependence on God in prayer.
I hope to sharpen my apologetic understanding of contemporary challenges to the Christian faith at the Forum.
I am a writer, apologist, and encourager of younger evangelists, especially women. I have been involved with the Fellowship of Evangelists in the Universities of Europe since its inception, and I have been privileged to serve at university events in different European countries and speak in a variety of settings in the UK.
I was an Associate UCCF staff worker for the Arts, and held a supervisory role for IFES / InterVarsity teams in France. I was also a teacher for 35 years.
I am attempting to reach out to unbelievers in a culturally relevant fashion and encourage others in this endeavour.
