Anastasia Ureche

Anastasia Ureche leads the counselling service in her church in Romania.
I encountered Jesus in my teen years at summer camp. Then, I decided that following Jesus was the only way to live and was baptised.
My brother was the first one to know Jesus. I visited his church often, and I got to know Jesus. The pastor who baptised me played a great role in my learning of the Word and the Christian maturity process. In my current church, I am a part of a group that actively serves in prayer and counselling.
I believe that attending the Forum will provide me with valuable insights and resources to enhance the effectiveness of our counselling ministry. It will offer opportunities to connect with other leaders and counsellors across Europe, allowing for the exchange of best practices and strategies for addressing the needs of those we serve. As the Forum's focus is on leadership development and spiritual growth, any practical ministry skills will equip our team to better support individuals in crisis, offer deeper spiritual guidance, and foster a more impactful, Christ-centered approach in our counselling efforts.
Our counselling ministry offers emotional and spiritual support to individuals and families facing various challenges or seeking guidance in their lives, all while having Jesus Christ as the center. We have trained counsellors who provide a safe and confidential space for people to discuss issues such as relationship difficulties, grief, addiction, and spiritual concerns. The ministry aims to offer compassion, Biblical wisdom, and practical advice to help individuals navigate their challenges while fostering spiritual growth and healing within the Church community.
I have been attending Betel Church for almost a decade. The first department that I served in was the design and decor department. After a while, I was assigned to be a co-leader. In the last three years, God led and prepared me for my calling where I lead the counselling department.
Due to limited financial resources, a scholarship is essential for me to be able to attend the Forum. The chance to learn and grow alongside leaders from across Europe will have a profound impact on my ministry and my community. I hope to bring back valuable insights and skills to better serve and uplift those around me. I would be incredibly grateful for the support.
