Aleksandar Andric
Aleksandar Andric serves on his church's worship team in Serbia.
My personal faith journey began when I met a pastor in my hometown who shared parts of the Gospel with me. A few years later, I attended a Christian conference organised by EUS / IFES / InterVarsity Serbia, where my eyes were finally opened, and I accepted Christ into my life.
My faith was definitely strengthened by serving in a church and later by being part of a leadership team in the EUS / IFES / InterVaristy ministry in Serbia. Through those experiences, I also met my wife, so they all reflect growth in every aspect of my life.
I believe that investing in and educating a highly motivated leader who will later share that knowledge and equip new generations brings great benefits to any ministry. My goal is to pass on everything I learn to the people around me, encouraging them as a leader and serving them as faithfully as possible by following the example of Jesus. In practical terms, this means helping people strengthen their faith, encouraging them to become involved in a local church or ministry, and being someone who can share wisdom and guidance that will add structure to churches and organisations.
Together with my wife, we help strengthen a young church with many young people. I serve on the worship team and partially lead it. I also help with much-needed logistics, communication, and organisation of the church and its activities. In addition, I remain connected with EUS / IFES / InterVarsity. I use my skills in video production to promote the organisation’s ministry and to record and capture important moments and topics we share.
My previous roles include leading a student ministry, assisting with various logistical tasks, and organising events. A big part of it also involved attending and serving at different leadership and Christian events to further strengthen my skills and faith.
EUS / IFES / InterVarsity offers great benefits for students and helps shape them into faithful servants of God. The church I attend is full of young people with energy and love. It provides a place where people can see God at work and become part of a growing community marked by a spirit of service.
