Ákos Kondor
Ákos Kondor is a pastor in Hungary.
When I was about 18 years old, I attended a church for a few months, where many people poured into me, explaining the Gospel and showing me the love of Christ.
The defining moments of my faith journey were when I decided to start attending church regularly. Later, at a youth conference, I felt God calling me to share with others the love He had already shown me. My pastor and several missionaries supported me and discipled me through those years.
I learned about the European Leadership Forum through other pastors. I hope it will provide both practical and spiritual tools for ministry. I believe it will broaden my perspective on the wider church. I’m also looking forward to hearing from different speakers and learning how to communicate biblical truth to people more effectively.
I provide pastoral care for people in our community, helping them understand God and Scripture through one-on-one conversations. I preach regularly at our church, and I lead a home group at our house each week. I also focus on discipling the men in our church.
After I got saved, I began serving in the youth ministry at our church. I also helped with translation and in the worship team. After finishing Bible college, I started working as an assistant pastor, and later my role transitioned into serving as a co-pastor at our church.
I believe our ministry at the church impacts many people during a very crucial season of their lives, and I want to make sure we disciple them well. I’m still young, and I hope to be in ministry for many more decades, so I want to keep learning and become even better prepared for the work God has called me to.
