Akille De Chirico
Akille De Chirico is a youth leader at his church in Italy.
I was raised in a Christian family, attending church and reading the Bible at home. In 2020, I became a Christian. It was after a time of personal struggles and failures that I realised I was a sinner. At that point, the Gospel convicted me, and I made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ as my personal saviour and Lord. I was then baptised and became a member of the local church, where I serve in various diaconal tasks.
Sunday services where I meet with God's people and listen to His Word, and Thursday night meetings with the youth in my church. Additionally, when I am asked about my faith at work, I have to respond.
I heard about the Forum from my father, Leonardo De Chirico, and from other former participants who are enthusiastic about it. I think it will give me great encouragement and training on how to better serve God in my current ministry. I also believe that it will give me tools to grow and mature.
I assist the leader of our youth ministry in encouraging younger brothers, presenting meditations and reflections, and preparing the evening program. I long to see them grow in Christ and see new young people come to know Jesus.
I am a young Christian growing in my leadership roles. I have been helping out in all ways possible.
I am a young leader in a minority context, living in the great and needy city of Rome.
