Adrian Tomus is a Bible study leader for youth in his church, Vox Domini Timisoara.
When did you trust Christ?
I grew up in the Evangelical church, and at a summer camp when I was 17, my heart was challenged by a friend to understand the need for forgiveness and also to know the love of my God. In short, that day, a hug from my friend opened my eyes to see that God loves me! After a few months, I confessed Jesus and was baptised.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
Over the past few years, God has blessed me with experienced people who have invested in my spiritual growth, and I have begun to understand more and more how much I have to learn and that every relationship is a true source of growth. I believe that this program offers me the opportunity to learn from experienced people and develop valuable relationships, which will become one of God's methods of growth and sanctification.
What is your ministry?
Starting in October 2023, I co-started a Bible study group for teenagers in my church. We hold weekly meetings each Friday afternoon. Before each meeting, we prepare by reading the passage designated for that week. During the meetings, after reading the passage together and summarizing its ideas, I challenge the participants to ask questions or make observations, and together, we answer and come to understand the message and truths of the passage. Over the course of the study, we have been happy to see a large number of interested and consistent youth participate.
