Paul was described by God to Ananias as, ‘A chosen instrument of mine to carry my name before the Gentiles and kings and the children of Israel’ (Acts 9:15). During his time as a leader of his denomination, John Kirkpatrick was afforded many opportunities to stand before the highest in the land, from representing Irish Presbyterians at the funeral of Queen Elizabeth and the coronation of King Charles to engaging with civic leaders. Are there lessons and encouragement for all of God’s people from these opportunities? This workshop explores how God can powerfully use ordinary people as His instruments in the public eye to touch hearts and open doors for the Gospel.
