WHO

The ELF Volunteer Team is open to committed evangelical believers from across the United States and the United Kingdom. We welcome volunteers of all ages, who are in good health and able to keep up with the busy ELF schedule. Over the years our volunteers have ranged in age from 18 to 80.

If you feel called to short-term mission work but hesitate at the thought of the manual labor and challenging conditions of traditional mission trips, ELF may be the perfect opportunity for you!

WHAT

ELF volunteers work together to run the annual meeting – making sure that all activities run smoothly. Perhaps more importantly, they create a warm, encouraging environment wherein Europe’s Christian leaders can experience God’s global community, grow spiritually, and receive teaching that will help advance their ministries. Tasks include but are not limited to: greeting participants in registration, video recording and monitoring sessions, and working in the ELF bookstore.

WHEN

The 2025 ELF is planned for May 17 - 22. You’ll arrive in Poland on Wednesday, May 14 for setup and training. (Note that if you’re traveling from the United States this requires departing on Tuesday, May 13.) You’ll return home on Saturday, May 24, after a day and a half of exploring beautiful, historic Kraków.

WHERE

ELF is held in Wisła (pronounced “VEE-swaa”), a lovely resort town located in the mountainous southwest corner of Poland, near the borders of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. All participants and volunteers stay at Hotel Gołębiewski for the duration of ELF. All volunteers stay at Galaxy Hotel after ELF, while in Kraków.

HOW

Applying for ELF involves submitting an application form and additional materials, including your medical history and consent form, and travel policy. Additionally, all volunteers are asked to make a contribution.
