2021 European Leadership Forum

2021 European Leadership Forum Online

After prayer and many conversations, we have decided that we cannot hold an in-person European Leadership Forum (ELF) in Poland in May, 2021. We will instead hold the 2021 ELF conference online. Our heart is to serve you in person, and we plan to do that again as soon as it is safely possible.

WHEN AND WHERE IS THE 2021 ANNUAL MEETING?

The 2021 Forum will be held online from Saturday, 15 May through Thursday, 20 May

WHO CAN ATTEND THE FORUM'S ANNUAL MEETING?

The ELF is an invitation-only congress aimed at spiritually mature evangelical leaders. To be considered for attendance, you must:

1) Be an Evangelical Christian - ELF is not associated with any particular denomination or church but rather seeks to unite committed believers from a variety of Evangelical Denominations.  We hold to the essentials laid out in the Lausanne Covenant and the Evangelical Affirmations, and we ask that all of our participants do the same.

2) Serve in a leadership role - ELF attendees should be in roles of leadership in either the church, Christian organisations, or society. This might include, but is not limited to: pastors, church planters, denominational leaders, leaders of organisations, university professors, journalists, scientists, artists, and psychologists, psychiatrists, or medical doctors, etc.

3) Meet the qualifications of the Network to which you are applying - ELF is dedicated to training, discussion, and relationship building; therefore, each Network is designed for a specific group of Christian leaders who have specific needs and backgrounds. Learn more about the various ELF Networks.

4) Speak English fluently - As the ELF is conducted entirely in English, an advanced level of English proficiency is required.

Those who fit these qualifications are encouraged to apply.

HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE?

This past spring, we did not have time to evaluate new leaders applying to attend ELF Online, so we opened up parts of the conference at no cost for leaders from around the world. This year, in order to better facilitate community, training, and mentoring, we will be switching back to an invitation-only model. Only those leaders who apply through our usual application process, are accepted, and pay a conference fee will be eligible to attend the 2021 ELF Online.

If you were invited to attend the in-person 2020 ELF in Wisla and paid your conference fees, your payment from 2020 will cover your cost of attendance at the 2021 ELF Online. Please note that you must confirm your participation in the 2021 ELF by filling out a short registration form by Friday, 29 January.

As in previous years, we will have an application form for those who would like to attend.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

The cost of the 2021 ELF Online will be 100 euros. A limited number of scholarships will be available for those from Central, Eastern, and Southern (Italy, Greece, Portugal, Spain) European countries or from the developing world. The cost of participation as a scholarship applicant would be 50 euros. Both rates will increase after 15 March 2021.

When deciding whether or not to apply, please note that no refunds are available under any circumstances.

The Forum fees are as follows:

Type GENERAL REGISTRATION RATE SCHOLARSHIP REGISTRATION RATE Sign-Up Deadline Payment Deadline
EARLY RATE 100 Euros 50 Euros Saturday, 30 January 2021 Within two weeks of acceptance
LATE RATE 150 Euros 75 Euros Wednesday, 5 May 2021
