What is your ministry?
Currently, I help my youth group leaders. I mostly watch and learn from them how to speak with people.
When did you trust Christ?
I was born into a Christian family, so I have known about God all my life. But it was only knowledge in my head, not my heart. I thought that if I gave my life to Jesus, it would be something that would look like a miracle on the outside, like a storm or hurricane. I was eleven when I realised that silent prayer was enough; that was the point when I started to follow Jesus.
What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?
I went to summer camps every summer as a camper or a volunteer. The Word of Life Camp was one of them. On Wednesday, they asked if someone wanted to renew their promise to Jesus, and I said yes. That night, I realised I didn't spend enough time reading the Bible. The other thing that came to my mind was that I went to university and college and made new friends, and they unknowingly pressured me to become one of them. They were nice but not trying to live a life God is pleased with. My family, particularly my mom, helped me return to the right path.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
I have a lot to work on myself to become a better leader since I am young and new to leadership roles.
What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?
I was the summer camp room leader and helped organise our summer camp in my hometown.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
I am a quick learner. I am good with people and want to serve God.
