What is your ministry?
I focus on preachers and missionaries. I prepare spiritual exercises for them. We meet for mentoring sessions and I help them in preparation for a sabbatical. Alongside this ministry, I develop activities for spiritual growth and apologetic seminars for a wider audience.
When did you trust Christ?
When I was 20, I attended Lutheran Church youth meetings. That was the place where I understood the Gospel and decided to trust God and follow Jesus.
What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?
Shortly after I began to follow God, I began to study theology. This has strongly influenced my Christian walk and focus. I have done eight years of social work (with drug-addicted and mentally disabled people). I have also held meetings with Christians from an evangelical background. All of these things have had a great impact on my current ministry.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
I have attended ELF twice. In both cases, it was a great challenge for me to deepen my relationship with God and to expand my ministry. Two years ago, I was going through a crisis and was considering whether to leave the ministry of the church. At that time, it was extremely encouraging to see that I was a part of a great movement. I also made new friends at the conference.
What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?
I used to work as a pastor, assistant pastor, and a counsellor.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
I am trying to develop a ministry focused on spiritual growth where spiritual disciplines play a key role. This kind of ministry is still not fully developed in evangelical churches in Slovakia. I believe this approach can help many to come closer to God and discover new dimensions of their faith.
