Milena Cerna

Leading the administration of our non-profit Christian organization, practically fulfilling the goals (preparing the seminars and conferences we provide), coordinating works on our monthly magazine and, working on the books we are issuing, caring for our staff and their needs. Taking care of our donors and members of our organisation.
It was in 1989 when I was 16 years old. I heard about Jesus from one of my classmates from high school in Prague.
My marriage was and is immensely impacting me and my faith all the time. We have been together almost 28 years, and it is still challenging. Nowadays, it is probably my work, which I would have personally chosen, but God did. So I obeyed, and I am here (for two years now). And going through a middle-age crisis, to find the purpose of my life after all the children have left home has been challenging, especially to respect their decision not to live with God but still pray for them and love them.
I hope I will learn some valuable skills and also know-how. How to work with the donors, how to work effectively, and how to take a rest either. How to delegate work to others and encourage all the staff. How to find the volunteers and how to make an advertisement to encourage people to come to our events, to read our magazine. How to find the people who could be leading our organization in the following years (our board has five members, and 3/5 of them are older - more than 70 years old and tired' We appreciate the wisdom and experiences of older people, but we need to mix them with some young, full of energy and plans.
I am a leader in the non-profit organisation where I serve, and I am also in leadership in small groups at church.
We are connecting Christians from several denominational and non-denominational fellowships. We desire to extend cooperation among Christians, coordinate various Christian activities, and participate in the spiritual revival in the Czech Republic. We are directly supporting the spreading of the Gospel in the Czech Republic by organizing activities such as public preaching, seminars, and conferences, by issuing the the monthly magazine, which is unique through its interdenominational focus.
