Matthew Kyalo Kwitha

In 2006, I started Springs of Glory Academy, a school where we lay firm Christian foundations for children of all ages. I minister to them every day and offer counseling and guidance. I help them find God, lay firm foundations, and let their light shine in their lives, families, and communities. In my church, I am the Assistant Pastor and the Youth Pastor. In addition, I organize door-to-door evangelism and outreach ministry. I also preach in high schools.
On February 19, 1990, I was 13 years old and I heard the gospel of Jesus Christ through a missionary from United States to Kenya by the Name of, Zac Shepperson. He shared with me about the fall of man and the need to give my life to Jesus, which I did. Since then, I have experienced a change in my life and I have continued to walk with the Lord and share His love with many others.
All my life I have grown a lot in my faith in God and I appreciate the fact that many people have been involved and have made me who I am today. I appreciate Zac Shepperson, who played a big role in my life to know Christ, and make Him known to all the people I come across in my generation. I was in high school in 1990 when I received Christ. I joined the Christian Union as an active member. In my church, I joined Sunday school classes and became a Sunday school teacher.
I expect to gain vast knowledge, wisdom, and better skills in training youth leaders, become a more effective youth ministry and develop a comprehensive understanding of equipping youth for God. I expect to Connect with the LikeMinded people with the Passion and Vision for the youth and share ways we can help each other do more and better. I hope to be nourished with the Word of God and Refreshed for a Fresh Start to new Heights. I expect to be renewed, energized, and equipped with modern skills and knowledge to be an effective youth leader. Finally, I hope to be challenged to fulfill the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ to go into all the World and make disciples of all nations and teach them to obey Him.
In high school, between 1990-1993, I joined the Christian Union and was appointed chairperson. In my church I was a Sunday school teacher and in charge of youth ministry. After that, I attended Bible college from 2000-2002. I was appointed as the Director of Children’s Ministry at Bible School at East Africa School of Theology. After graduating from Bible college, I started a ministry to children that I do to this date. I reach many children and young people with the gospel of Jesus Christ. In 2006, I started an academy for children, Springs of Glory Academy, where I am the Chaplain, Dean, and Director. We have over 200 kids and over 15 teachers.
It is imperative to invest in the Kingdom of God. There is a need for proper knowledge and tools for the gospel to reach the lost. I believe this investment is worth giving; many people will benefit from this training.
