Matthew Kyalo Kwitha

In 2006, I started Springs of Glory Academy, which is a school where we lay firm Christian foundations for children of all ages. I minister to them every day, and offer counseling and guidance. I help them to find God, lay firm foundations, and let their light shine in their lives, families, and communities. In my church I am the Assistant Pastor and the Youth Pastor. I organize door-to-door evangelism and outreach ministry. I also preach in high schools.
On February 19, 1990, I was 13 years old and I heard the gospel of Jesus Christ through a missionary from United States to Kenya by the Name of, Zac Shepperson. He shared with me about the fall of man and the need to give my life to Jesus, which I did. Since then, I have experienced a change in my life and I have continued to walk with the Lord and share His love with many others.
All my life I have grown a lot in my faith in God and I appreciate the fact that many people have been involved and have made me who I am today. I appreciate Zac Shepperson, who played a big role in my life to know Christ, and make Him known to all the people I come across in my generation. I was in high school in 1990 when I received Christ. I joined the Christian Union as an active member. In my church, I joined Sunday school classes and became a Sunday school teacher.
Attending the European Leadership Forum will benefit my ministry a lot by gaining knowledge, exposure, and different methods to share the gospel to the lost world.
When I was in high school between 1990-1993, I joined the Christian Union in the school and was appointed to be the Chairperson. In my Church I was a Sunday school teacher, and in charge of youth ministry. I attended Bible college from 2000-2002.At Bible School I was appointed as the Director of Children’s Ministry at East Africa School of Theology. After graduating from Bible college, I started a ministry to children that I do to this date. I reach many children and young people with the gospel of Jesus Christ. In 2006, I started an academy for children, Springs of Glory Academy, where I am the Chaplain, Dean, and Director. We have over 200 kids and over 15 teachers.
It is very important to invest in the Kingdom of God. There is a need for proper knowledge and tools for the gospel to reach the lost. I believe this investment is worth giving towards and many people will benefit from this training.
