What is your ministry?

I am involved in my church community in different ways. I lead a Bible study group for women. I am in the church choir. I also am involved with seminars for women that my church organizes two or three times a year. As the leader of a small group, I want to be an example of Christ’s love to the other women, to show them love and interest and concern, to build trust in sharing in their problems and struggles. I want to build relationships with them daily, not just once a week when we formally meet.

When did you trust Christ?

When I was about 16 years old, I became a Christian. My sister shared the Gospel with me, and I listened carefully. One day I asked her what would happen to me if I died today and rejected Jesus? And she said with very sad eyes that I would die. It really terrified me. After a few days I became Christian. I was Catholic, but deep inside I disagreed with nearly all the doctrines. After a while, I decided to convert to Protestantism. I see now how my faith life has changed. I love Jesus more and I want to tell others about Him.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

I am eager to get to know other Christian leaders and learn from their experiences. I would like to gain more self-esteem and to be more disciplined about my own prayer life and study of the Bible. I want to become better at making disciples.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

My sister and I lead two Bible groups for women. I am responsible for a group for new Christian women or women who are not believers but searching.<br />

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

Based on the materials from our church and other sources I prepare questions and commentary for the group. I am also responsible for the winter Christmas meeting for women. The aim of this meeting is to share the Gospel and encouraging women to grow in their faith. I am responsible for the topic, the verses of the Bible that will be meditated, and usually one of the women will share the Gospel. This is what really excites me, and I love the interaction with people!
