Lydia Rajcanova

I teach religion in primary schools. I work with kids at the local Lutheran kindergarten. I lead the Sunday school preparation team and I teach Sunday school. I am also responsible for structural work with kids from our church and their friends.
I started following Jesus when I was 15. I made the decision at Christian summer camp. I realized I felt emptiness in my heart, so I decided I wanted to “try it with Jesus” and it worked.
I would say there have been many defining moments in my faith. The most influential were attending youth group, serving at youth group, attending small groups, and later leading small groups. A current great shift in my Christian life is working in the church.
I would like to meet inspirational people working in the mission field. I want to learn from their experience. I also think it is very important to meet people doing similar jobs so you can share, inspire, and create networks.
I have been leading in children’s ministry for two years.
I am a young and passionate leader. I want to do things that impact people’s lives, but sometimes I lack experience. I think sharing skills and knowledge with other people can help me do my work better and build God’s kingdom more effectively.
