Krystian Zaremba
My current ministry is to connect evangelical Christians in Poland. In youth ministry, I collaborate with Steiger, JV, Generation+, and other organisations to provide complex evangelistic tools for Generation Z. We have been preparing this project for several months, and it will soon be published (booklet, website, videos, tools). With Evangelical Poland, I am also responsible for the organisation of the Polish National Forum, which takes place every year in Warsaw. With Josiah Venture, I am working on connecting Polish churches to the English Camp programme.
In 2012, I decided to follow Jesus. I had been searching for answers to my faith-based questions since I was 15. I met Jehovah’s Witnesses, 7-day Adventists, and other people/groups during my search. When I moved to Poznan to study economics, I met my friend Łukasz Woźniak, who invited me to Bible meetings for students. I met young people that believed in God and I heard Gospel and understood what it meant for me. I started reading Bible on my own and found out that salvation is not a matter of my works but the grace of God and it's a free gift. I believed in the Gospel and was baptised afterward.
One defining moment was when my ex-fiancée broke up with me 2 months before our wedding. I also went through a time of feeling overwhelmed with ministry in the church by doing too much. My wife and I went through a miscarriage of our baby. Another defining moment was discovering my calling to be an evangelist and deciding to work as a missionary at Evangelical Poland. Each situation has impacted my life and faith and I know that God has taught me a lot through the difficulties. I know now who I am in Christ and what my calling is.
I'm interested in being able to grow and be inspired by other leaders who do their best in other countries/ministries. I know that I will be equipped and encouraged to do my job in Poland.
I have led small groups (discipleship, Bible) in my local church. In addition, I have been involved in organising events, trips, and church meetings.
I have a business background and some qualifications/skills that are needed in ministry and church. I am a doer and problem solver, so things are being done in my ministry because I believe God works through his people. I am trying to be a networker and coordinator of different ministries in Poland. I know my calling and I believe God's working through my ministry.
