What is your ministry?

I am the leader of the student group in my city. Our primary focus is evangelism and discipleship. We do evangelistic projects and also do one-on-one evangelistic Bible studies. I also do discipleship with Christian students.

When did you trust Christ?

When I was a teenager, some friends invited me to church, and I attended church and small groups meeting. In 2015, at 15, I decided to follow Jesus and serve God.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

The first is, of course, repentance and baptism. My mentors and friends from the church helped me understand the meaning and importance of this. The main stage of my spiritual growth was during my student years. I served on the IFES team, where I learned to evangelize and read the Bible, engaged in discipleship, and served at my university. I was helped a lot by my team leaders and different IFES training. Now I have a new stage as an IFES staff worker. Since this year, I have been helping students learn to evangelize, grow spiritually, and become leaders.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

The 2023 Forum helped me grow and develop my abilities. I also learned new ways and strategies to build the ministry in my city. I was inspired to become a disciple maker, and we held an annual conference for Christian students in our country. About 200 people attended this conference. The conference lasted 3 days, and each day was dedicated to a specific topic: evangelism, discipleship, and missions. We held various seminars, speeches, and discussions on each topic.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

I was a student leader in the past. I also led Bible studies individually and in groups and ministered to young students.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

We believe that with the help of students, we can change our city, our country, and the world. After graduating from universities and colleges, students will work and evangelize in their place of work. And it will no longer be students, but doctors, teachers, politicians, and many others. We are also raising the next generation of leaders who can serve in local churches and understand the importance of God's ministry.
