What is your ministry?
At my home church, I serve as an elder with specific responsibility for church finances and preach occasionally. As an employee of the Czech Evangelical Alliance, I am responsible for financial management, communications, and operational planning. I also serve in a foreign mission in India, in Bihar. One of the churches of our congregation there has established a school and is supporting an Indian missionary in ministry. I participate in a short-term mission trip once a year. My responsibilities in this ministry are support and facilities for the missionaries, the ministry to the children in the school, and the administration of the overall project.
When did you trust Christ?
As a child who grew up in church, my relationship with God was formed step by step. I made my conscious decision to follow Jesus at youth camp when I was a teenager. I was baptized and became a member of the church. God guided me through my childhood. I see my relationship with God as a lifelong process of asking God, from time to time, to go deeper or to choose the path of my relationship with Him.
What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?
The first defining moment was my decision to follow Christ and joining my church's youth group afterward. A second defining moment was my ministry as a youth leader and missionary among students. A third defining moment was studying practical theology through TCM International Institute. A fourth defining moment was having Christian friends with whom I could discuss God's Word and model my practical faith.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
Through the Forum, I hope to be encouraged and have the opportunity to learn new things. In addition, I hope to share my own experiences with other participants and learn from the experiences of others.
What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?
Initially, I was a youth group leader and missionary among students. I served as an elder for 12 years in my church and had responsibility for economic affairs for almost eight years. Also, I helped with the Czech Evangelical Forum in 2022; we had over 80 participants.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
I want to serve God effectively to my full potential. I want to excel in ministry to see more people trust God. I also long to grow personally in my relationship with Him.
