What is your ministry?
I run an online Christian magazine- Ethos. I am an elder in the local assembly of about 100 members. My ministry includes preaching, organizing, making plans, encouraging others to preach, and encouraging participation in worship. I am a member of a publications board. I am a member of a local mission board. I also serve as President of the denominational board.
When did you trust Christ?
I first trusted Christ when I was eleven years old. I was with my family, and confessed my sins and accepted God’s forgiveness. I chose then to let God lead my life.
What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?
Being a part of the local church helped define my faith. There were also many believers who helped to influence me in my walk with God.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
I look forward to seeing examples of what others do in their churches. I am eager to make new contacts and build relationships with other leaders. I also hope for some consultation to gain wisdom and information from others.
What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?
I have served as an elder of a local assembly during my ministry. I have also worked for the Christian magazine Ethos. In addition, I have served as a member of the denomination board.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
I am working to develop my gifts for broader use, and having someone invest in my training would help me grow. The gifts I am seeking to grow in are- preaching, writing, organizing, and leading.
