What is your ministry?
Since 1999, I have been the youth pastor in our local Pentecostal church in Medgidia, Romania. Since 2002, I have been leading the youth department for the Pentecostal denomination in the southeastern part of Romania. Since 2015, I have been leading an organization called Vital. From 2010-2015, I led the youth department for an organization called BIG-IMPACT.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
I want to learn more about mentoring youth leaders. I think being mentored myself will help me to accomplish this goal. Next year I want to do the same for other youth leaders from Romania. I want to connect with other youth leaders and be inspired.
What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?
I am a youth pastor and lead a great youth ministry team in our local church in Medgidia. I started to plant churches in southeastern Romania 22 years ago and I am still doing this with young people. Six years ago, I started to lead a national organization for youth leaders called “Vital.” This is the Josiah Venture partner in Romania. Right now, we have 13 full-time employees in our organization and 35 volunteers. Through this organization, we train youth leaders to do discipleship like Jesus using four strategies: camps, schools, sports, and music. We also host national conferences for youth leaders in Romania. I am one of the founders of an organization called ProLider, which trains leaders. I am a teacher and part of the leadership board for a mission school in Romania. I teach a course called “Discipleship as a Lifestyle.” I oversee a few churches. I mentor youth pastors and pastors.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
I want to receive mentoring. I want to network with other youth leaders. I want to become a better leader and mentor myself.
