I am the new director of this communication organisation. I lead the TV and radio programs on national public channels there. I also monitor the 24-7 protestant radio that belongs to the Spanish protestant federation. At the same time, I am an elder in the local church I attend.
I was raised in a Christian family. I grew up hearing stories from the Bible, and I believed them intellectually. But it was not until I was 18 that I came to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. After that, I went through some problems that brought me to a saving relationship with Him.
One of the defining moments was when I was at university when I was 18 years old. I had a relationship with a girl, but it ended. That brought a lot of pain into my life. Through that period, God taught me to rely on Him, no matter what. He taught me that everything is under His control and that I can rest in Him because of His perfect guidance. Since then, whenever I struggle, I remember how Christ brought me peace when I most needed it.
The impact of the Forum is enormous. It encourages and strengthens me to go on with my ministry. Through the Forum, I have also gotten to know other believers involved in mass media work. We have been able to learn from each other and help each other.
I was a youth group leader at my local church in Madrid for ten years and a Bible teacher in Christian youth camps.
Our program, “Good News TV,” is a useful tool to bring the Christian message to Spanish society. Our show must be as good as possible; therefore, training and resources are essential. The audience is around 60,000-100,000 people per episode.
